In the upcoming NRL Round 17 match, the Wests Tigers will aim to return to winning form against the Manly Sea Eagles on Friday night.

Due to a hamstring strain, Jahream Bula will be sidelined, prompting Heath Mason to take over at fullback.

The team is also introducing promising young player Latu Fainu, who will partner with Jarome Luai in the halves for the first time.

Jack Bird will start in the second row, with Alex Seyfarth and Tony Sukkar, who was the 18th player reserve in Round 16, shifting to the bench.

Luke Laulilii has been named as the 18th player following his participation in the NSW Under 19s Origin match last Thursday.

On the other hand, the Sea Eagles are making key adjustments, with Lehi Hopoate returning to fullback, resulting in Tom Trbojevic moving to the centres and Reuben Garrick to the wing.

Jazz Tevaga will replace Lachlan Croker, who is out due to concussion, at hooker.

Corey Waddell has been named to start in the back row, while Matt Lodge is set to take the lead in the front row, with Ethan Bullemor also shifting to the bench alongside former Tiger Jake Simpkin.

Both teams are making strategic changes as they prepare for the match, positioning themselves for a competitive clash.
