Wests Tigers has launched an initiative to enhance the fan experience at CommBank Stadium by creating a standing room section behind the northern tryline, inspired by the atmosphere at Leichhardt and Campbelltown.
Ben Trupiano, head of fan engagement, came up with the idea after witnessing the energy of standing terraces in other sports.
Trupiano expressed hope that the standing section would combine the best aspects of different venues, and teased a special post-game celebration if the Tigers win.
This initiative aims to bring fans to the "next level" of excitement and engagement at Wests Tigers games.
