"The appointment of Scott Clark brings a wealth of experience to the inaugural women's squad," added a spokesperson.
The team is gearing up to make their debut in the famous blue jersey against Queensland Universities at North Sydney Oval on 18 May.
It's set to be a clash for the ages, reminiscent of the classic State of Origin battles.
