The Bulldogs Hall of Fame recently welcomed three new additions to its prestigious ranks, with John Greaves, Steve Folkes, and Hazem El Masri being inducted as part of the Club's 90-Year Anniversary Gala Night celebrations.
El Masri, a true legend in the world of Rugby League, was in attendance to receive his Hall of Fame blazer, while family members accepted the honor on behalf of Greaves and Folkes.
Greaves, known as Bulldog no.303, was a standout player in the 1960s and 1970s, with 112 first-grade games under his belt for the Club.
He also represented New South Wales in 7 matches and Australia in 12 Tests.
Alongside fellow Hall of Famer Les Johns, Greaves played a pivotal role in guiding Canterbury to its first Grand Final appearance in two decades in 1967.
As a former Club Captain, Greaves was honored with a spot in the 50 Year Anniversary team in 1985, the Berries to Bulldogs 70 Year Team of Champions in 2004, and was inducted into the Bulldogs Ring of Champions in 2007.
Folkes, known as Bulldog no.432, was a beloved figure at the Club, with a special place in its storied history.
He will forever be remembered for his contributions both on and off the field.
The additions of Greaves, Folkes, and El Masri to the Bulldogs Hall of Fame further solidify the Club's rich legacy in the world of Rugby League.
