Sharks NRL stars Nicho Hynes and Cameron McInnes, along with Cronulla's NRLW number 9 Quincy Dodd, have been chosen to represent Australia in the Men's and Women's Prime Minister's XIII squads.

The teams will face off against the PNG PM's XIII teams on September 23 at the Santos National Football Stadium in Port Moresby.

This announcement was made by the Australian Rugby League Commission and the Prime Minister, the Hon Anthony Albanese MP.

Hynes and McInnes have been recognized for their exceptional performances in the Sharks' colors this season.

Dodd, on the other hand, made history as the first player to sign an NRLW contract with the Sharks and has displayed strong leadership and skills as a dummy half.

The Men's Prime Minister's XIII will include eight players from the 2022 World Cup winning Kangaroos squad, making this the first encounter between the two teams in PNG since 2018.

The Women's Prime Minister's XIII has been carefully selected to include both established representative players and promising up-and-coming talent from the NRLW, such as Dodd, Kennedy Cherrington, Botille Vette-Welsh, and Tallisha Harden.
