The Dolphins NRL website has released an update on the 2025 preseason, with players gearing up for the upcoming season in full force.

The squad has been hitting the training field since early November, with a mix of seasoned players and fresh faces ready to tackle the challenges ahead.

The Dolphins Academy graduates and development players have stepped up to the plate, diving headfirst into the rigors of an NRL preseason.

It's a significant moment for the club as these young talents officially join the preseason program for the first time, signaling a new era of growth and potential.

Head coach Kostjasyn has commended the academy and development players for their impressive physical shape, unwavering focus, and minimal mistakes during the early stages of training.

Their dedication and hard work are setting the tone for a successful preseason campaign.

In addition to the homegrown talent, the Dolphins have also welcomed players from the Redcliffe Dolphins Hostplus Cup squad, as well as athletes from affiliate clubs like the Norths Devils and Central Queensland Capras.

These players, who have earned their stripes in local competitions, are vying for spots on the team through train and trial contracts.

The 2024 Hostplus Cup showcased the strength and depth of these clubs, with all three teams making it to the finals series.

The Norths Devils ultimately claimed victory in the Grand Final, overcoming the Redcliffe Dolphins in a thrilling showdown.

Throughout the season, players from the Dolphins' NRL squad and train-and-trial participants made valuable contributions to their respective teams, setting the stage for an exciting 2025 season.
