Daniel Anderson, a relatively unknown coach, started his career with the NZ Warriors in 2001.
However, it didn't take long for him to make a name for himself.
In his first season, he led the club to the NRL finals, marking a significant achievement for the team.
Building on this success, Anderson guided the Warriors to the minor premiership and their first-ever grand final appearance in his second season.
The team's impressive performance continued into his third season, coming within a win of another grand final outing.
Throughout his tenure, Anderson coached the Warriors in a total of 92 matches, achieving 51 wins, two draws, and 39 losses.
This period was notable for producing numerous rugby league superstars.
Anderson had the opportunity to work with almost 50 players, with Manu Vatuvei being the last player to appear in teams coached by him, holding the title of Warrior #115.
