James Tedesco has finally broken his silence on the rollercoaster of emotions he experienced in the past 24 hours, after receiving a surprise call-up to the NSW Blues squad for State of Origin I following Dylan Edwards' unfortunate injury.

After facing the possibility of the end of his impressive 22-game Origin streak, Tedesco will now be donning the blue jersey on Wednesday night, thanks to a series of events that can only be described as a whirlwind.

In a classic sporting twist, Tedesco revealed, "It's been a bit of a wild 24 hours after 'Madge' (Maguire) gave me the call yesterday post the Captain's Run at the Roosters.

I was left hanging until this morning, unsure if I would be playing an NRL game or joining the NSW camp."

Reflecting on the chaotic turn of events, he added, "It was a bit crazy.

But it's a massive honor and privilege to be back in NSW camp."

Now, with the stage set for the big game, Tedesco is ready to take on whatever challenges come his way, proving once again why he is considered one of the best in the league.
