Tedesco on the bench, Origin dream still alive

James Tedesco, the star fullback from the Sydney Roosters, is keeping the door open for a return to representative rugby league despite being left out of both the NSW Blues and Kangaroos squads last year.

The Roosters captain, known for his stellar performances on the field, is determined to continue to excel for his club while staying hopeful for State of Origin and international opportunities.

Reflecting on his exclusion from the representative teams, Tedesco acknowledged that he wasn't surprised by the decision and is focused on maintaining his high standards.

Although facing this setback, Tedesco's main priority is his club form and helping the Roosters bounce back from a disappointing season where their defense fell short.

"I gave it my all last year, so I'm holding myself to that high standard.

I know what I'm capable of and I'm determined to keep pushing myself to be at my best every year, every week, every game," Tedesco stated in an interview with Newswire.

With his eyes set on the future, Tedesco is ready to tackle any challenges that come his way on his rugby league journey, never backing down from a chance to represent his state or country again.
