James Tedesco has become one of only two players to win the Players' Champion award four times, joining the legendary Johnathan Thurston. His peers voted him the NRL's best player for 2025.
Previously awarded the Players' Champion in 2017, 2019, and 2022, Tedesco outperformed Harry Grant, Payne Haas, Isaiya Katoa, and Ethan Strange to claim this honor once more.
With this latest accolade, Tedesco now stands alongside Thurston, as the Players' Champion award has been presented by the Rugby League Players' Association (RLPA) since its inception in 2004.
"For James to be on a par with Johnathan Thurston on four Players' Champion awards is an extraordinary achievement," said RLPA chief Clint Newton.
