Taukeiaho to Decide on Sea Eagles Future

Manly Sea Eagles forward Siosiua Taukeiaho is poised to capitalize on a strong return to the NRL by signing a new contract with the club. The former Roosters enforcer has made his way back to Australia after spending time in the English Super League.

Once hailed as one of the top props in the sport, Taukeiaho's move to England was not a positive chapter, leading to challenges including a failed medical that delayed his return to the sport. Initially slated to join the Canterbury Bulldogs in 2024, the setback pushed his NRL debut until he finally played for Anthony Seibold's team this year.

In 2025, he has emerged as one of Manly's standout players, participating in all 18 games and consistently averaging 120 metres per match. His performance has been marked by nearly 92 percent tackling efficiency, alongside 10 tackle breaks and 9 offloads.

According to Wide World of Sports, despite being 33 years old, Taukeiaho is expected to finalize a new deal with Manly within the next month, extending his career into 2026. His manager, Peter Menciou, has confirmed that Taukeiaho is eager to continue playing, with previous injuries from his time in the Super League influencing this decision.
