The warriors.kiwi website has posted an article titled "Team List: Tevaga boosts side," reporting on the upcoming clash between the New Zealand Warriors and the Sydney Roosters at Allianz Stadium on Sunday.
The game kicks off at 2.00pm local time, which is 4.00pm NZT.
There's good news and bad news for the Warriors as they prepare to face the in-form Roosters.
Unfortunately, experienced forward Kurt Capewell is out due to a calf injury sustained during the game against Newcastle.
However, fans will be pleased to hear that Jazz Tevaga, a seasoned veteran with 123 games under his belt, is back in action after recovering from a hamstring injury.
He will be included on the interchange list, adding energy and experience to the team.
Tevaga missed the first two games of the season but made a strong impact in the wins over the Raiders, Knights, and Rabbitohs, as well as the draw with the Sea Eagles.
Unfortunately, he picked up a hamstring injury early in the game against Manly, forcing him to sit out the recent losses to the Dragons, Titans, and Knights.
This matchup against the Roosters will be the only meeting between the two teams this season, following a trend that has played out over the past five years.
The Roosters have dominated in recent matchups, winning the last seven games against the Warriors.
Overall, the Warriors will look to Tevaga to provide a boost to their side as they face off against the Roosters in what is sure to be a thrilling encounter on the field.
