Tarryn Aiken, the talented playmaker, has been named the 2023 Sydney Roosters KARI NRLW Player of the Year in her first season with the club.

This award is the perfect way to cap off a fantastic year for Aiken, who made the move from Brisbane to Sydney in search of a chance to develop her skills under the guidance of John Strange.

Aiken consistently impressed on the field, whether it was with her high bombs, precise short-ball passes that sent her teammates through the defensive line, or her heroic try-saving tackles.

Throughout the regular season, she recorded an impressive 10 try assists, the highest of any player in the NRLW competition, as well as scoring five tries and averaging 121 run metres per game.

Additionally, Aiken was also recognized with the Steggles Try of the Year Award for her remarkable chip-and-chase try against the Gold Coast Titans in Round 5.

Meanwhile, Brydie Parker, a nominee for the 2023 Veronica White Medal, was honored with the Roosters the Community Award for her unwavering dedication to community programs and initiatives.
