
Taine Tuaupiki has secured a two-year contract extension with the NZ Warriors, committing to the team until the end of the 2028 NRL season.
This re-signing follows his previous commitment extending to the end of the 2026 season.
Joining the Warriors on a train-and-trial basis in late 2022, Tuaupiki has made an impressive 25 NRL appearances since debuting in 2023.
He has also played a significant role in 36 matches for the club's New South Wales Cup team.
Tuaupiki, born on August 31, 1999, in Sydney, NSW, began his junior career with the Ngaruawahia Panthers and the Runaway Bay Seagulls.
As a fullback standing 178cm tall and weighing 83kg, he is known by Warriors No. 279.
His NRL debut was against the North Queensland Cowboys on March 18, 2023.
Throughout his NRL journey, he has scored 20 points from three tries and four goals.
Last season marked his busiest campaign, with 14 appearances and some time spent on the wing.
