In a true display of grit and determination, the NRL squad from bulldogs.com.au took to Campsie Public School to share their stories of resilience with the Year 6 students on August 14.
As part of their Diploma of Community Services, these Bulldogs stars aimed to inspire the young minds with their tales of overcoming adversity.
While the Bulldogs have been hitting their stride on the field, these players, including Toby Sexton, Josh Curran, Jeral Skelton, Chris Patolo, Hayze Perham, Joash Papalii, and Kitione Kautoga, showed their commitment to off-field endeavors by delivering a powerful program to the students.
Even Karl Oloapu, who was off tackling commitments in Bundaberg, was part of the crew in spirit.
Enrolled in their diplomas, these players are not just building up their on-field skills, but also preparing themselves for life beyond the game.
Split into two groups, the players engaged with both classes, leaving a lasting impact on the students.
It was a successful visit arranged through the Club's Education Department, showing the importance of being ready for whatever comes after the final whistle blows.
