Queensland Maroons centre Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow encountered a training mishap ahead of Game 1 of the 2025 State of Origin series, failing to finish the session due to a knee knock.
The incident occurred during an opposed training session against the Sunshine Coast Falcons on Sunday.
Despite this setback, the Queensland Rugby League (QRL) remains optimistic that there are no significant issues and anticipates that he will be ready to play on Wednesday in Brisbane.
A QRL spokesperson noted, "He got a bump, got a knee clash in the opposed session, but there are no major concerns." Tabuai-Fidow's pace and agility are crucial for the Maroons, especially in facing the Blues' defense.
