Sylvester Namo, the Castleford Tigers' burly prop forward, has struck out in his appeal against a hefty five-game ban for a dangerous tackle that left Warriors' Willie Isa nursing a dislocated ankle.

In a gritty showdown, Namo managed to get his Grade F charge downgraded to a Grade E, but still copped a £750 fine for his troubles.

Despite the club's spirited appeal, the ruling powers that be stood firm, upholding the suspension.

Isa, showing true sportsmanship, took to X, the modern-day platform of choice, to brush off the incident as just a part of the rough and tumble world of Rugby League.

With no ill will towards anyone, Isa's words echo the resilient spirit of the game itself.
