The Rugby League Players' Association recently wrapped up its annual 'Leaders in League' conference, a gathering that brought together 70 of the game's most influential player leaders for two days of reflection and development.
The event, now in its third year, aims to empower and nurture the leadership qualities of RLPA members, allowing them to cultivate their skills both on and off the field.
The Novotel in Brighton Le-Sands served as the backdrop for this year's conference, providing male and female players with the invaluable opportunity to network and forge connections with leaders from other clubs and between the NRL and NRLW competitions.
Alongside the collective wisdom shared amongst attendees, the conference boasted a special appearance from AFL Premiership-winning captain Joel Selwood, a figure who knows a thing or two about leading a successful team.
With representatives from the Wests Tigers, including Api Koroisau, Bo Vette-Welsh, and new recruit Aidan Sezer, it was evident that the conference was well-attended by those eager to learn and grow in their leadership roles within the Rugby League community.
