The tackle involved contact with Farnworth's legs; Radley had six MRC run-ins this year and risked a two-match ban if he challenged and lost.
Isaiya Katoa was fined $750 for a hip-drop on veteran winger Daniel Tupou.
About 20 minutes later, Dolphins lock Morgan Knowles received $3,000 for a Grade 1 careless high tackle, his third or subsequent offence.
A failed challenge would also risk a two-match suspension for Knowles.
Daly Cherry-Evans could finish his NRL career with a Roosters title after joining for a 12-month push towards premiership contention.
He has not won a premiership since his 2011 debut season, when he and Kieran Foran won the Grand Final.
