The Roosters' 36-20 win over the Dolphins on Friday secured Lindsay Collins his first NRL grand-final appearance.
They will play the winner of Sunday's preliminary final between Penrith and Newcastle.
Collins is the only player to feature in multiple preliminary-final victories without reaching a grand final.
He missed the Roosters' winning 2018 and 2019 deciders, omitted for Dylan Napa and Jared Waerea-Hargreaves.
In 2024, he was knocked out by Nelson Asofa-Solomona after 18 seconds of a preliminary-final loss.
"I'm going to make the most of it." Collins said of his upcoming opportunity.
Collins credited the Roosters' preseason Kokoda trip, along a 96km route forged by Australian soldiers in 1942, for the team's resolve.
He dismissed football expectations as pressure, saying:
"Pressure is someone dealing with cancer; there's a lot more ****ing shit going on in the world than playing a game of football."
