The Brisbane Broncos have secured a spot in their first grand final in 17 years after a dominant 26-0 victory over the Melbourne Storm.

The Storm's hopes were further dampened when Ryan Papenhuyzen suffered a serious ankle injury and had to be taken off the field on a medicab.

This win also ended the Broncos' 14-game losing streak against the Storm.

The Broncos capitalized on early mistakes made by Nick Meaney and Eli Katoa, putting the Storm under immense pressure.

Kotoni Staggs showcased his power and agility, leaving four defenders behind as he charged towards the tryline.

Despite a well-executed kick by Cameron Munster, the Storm failed to convert their opportunity as Adam Reynolds responded with a 50-meter line dropout.

With the rain intensifying, ball handling became more challenging, and the Storm squandered a scoring chance when Tui Kamikamkica lost possession just five meters away from the Broncos' tryline.
