The St George Illawarra Dragons have provided a positive update on second-rower Jaydn Su'A, who suffered an ankle injury during Friday night's game against the Newcastle Knights.
After being taken off the field in the first half, it has been confirmed that Su'A is dealing with a syndesmosis injury.
Fortunately for the team, this is only a low-grade injury to his left ankle.
Syndesmosis injuries that do not require surgery can allow players to return in as little as two to four weeks; however, more serious cases can lead to absence lasting up to three months.
Given the lower severity of Su'A's injury, he is expected to recover sooner rather than later, although the Dragons have confirmed he will not play in next weekend's match against the Dolphins.
