'Shaken up': Ricky Stuart makes bold move with 18-year-old after injury setback
Ricky Stuart has shown his unwavering support for his young squad following a challenging match against the Broncos, declaring that the Raiders are focusing on nurturing their up-and-coming talent.
Chevy Stewart faced a rough start in the first half against the Broncos, with the young Raiders team trailing 28-0.
However, they didn't back down and managed to claw back in the second half, winning 10-6.
Stuart commended his players, particularly the younger ones, for their resilience in bouncing back after a grueling initial 40 minutes.
"That's what I spoke about at halftime, at the 15-minute mark it could have been 6-0 with Hudson Young when he fumbled over the try line," Stuart remarked.
"Then they capitalized on the mistakes and scored 24 points with three tries from kicks.
