Canberra Raiders head coach Ricky Stuart expressed his disappointment with his team's clunky attack and Corey Horsburgh's mistake during their loss to the North Queensland Cowboys.
The game was played in extreme heat, with Horsburgh making two errors and conceding penalties in a short span of time.
Stuart admitted that Horsburgh was aware of his mistake and acknowledged that it was not part of the game plan.
In his post-match press conference, Stuart stated, "We have spoken about that [Corey Horsburgh pushing passes].
He is actually an intelligent football person in regards to the game.
He knew straight away that I wouldn't be happy and it wasn't what we planned in that part of the field." Despite the disappointing performance, Stuart's comments suggest that he expects better from his team moving forward.
