Tanner Stowers-Smith, the NZ Warriors' promising rookie, has signed a long-term contract that extends until the end of the 2028 season.

This three-year deal highlights the 21-year-old forward's rapid ascent through the club's pathways system, starting from Christchurch.

Stowers-Smith recently marked his NRL debut as Warrior #292 in a match against the Dolphins and played again in a dominant victory over Cronulla Sutherland.

His re-signing comes on the heels of fellow back rowers Leka Halasima and Jacob Laban, who also secured contract extensions through 2029.

Other players, including middle forward Demitric Vaimauga (2028) and centre Ali Leiataua (2027), have similarly been signed for extended periods, showcasing the Warriors' commitment to building a strong, young team.
