The latest report from Melbourne Storm's Junior Rep teams is in, with Round 4 and 9 delivering some mixed results on the rugby league field.
The Jersey Flegg side put on a strong showing, taking down the Kaiviti Silktails with a convincing 36-10 victory.
It was a stellar performance in front of the home crowd, with Hugo Peel setting the tone early with a try in the very first minute.
After the break, the Silktails managed to put some points on the board, but Storm's defense held strong, with Pio making a game-changing intercept and sprinting down the field for a crucial try.
The right edge combination of Hudson Brown and Liam Williams continued to shine, with Stanley Huen adding the finishing touch to secure the win.
Unfortunately, luck wasn't on the side of Storm's SG Ball and Harold Matthews sides, with the SG Ball team going down 40-6 and the Harold Matthews team narrowly defeated 32-28 by the Bulldogs.
Despite the mixed bag of results, the Junior Rep teams showed determination and skill on the field, leaving fans eager to see what they'll bring to the next round of competition.
