Melbourne Storm has bid farewell to George Jennings and Jordan Grant as they conclude their time with the club after the 2023 season.

According to the report from melbournestorm.com.au, Jennings made his debut for the Penrith Panthers in Round 1 of 2015 before representing the Paramatta Eels from 2018 to 2019.

He then spent a year with the Warriors in 2020 before joining the Storm.

During his time with the Storm, Jennings played in the purple jersey on 21 occasions from 2021 to 2023, accumulating a total of 56 NRL appearances throughout his career.

His standout season was in 2021, where he scored 11 tries in 18 appearances and participated in the Qualifying and Preliminary Finals.

Unfortunately, Jennings suffered a season-ending ACL injury in the 2022 season opener and a medial strain in his second game of the 2023 season.

On the other hand, Grant was recruited by the Storm for the 2021 campaign and made seven appearances for the club since his debut in Round 18, 2021.

Both Jennings and Grant played significant roles for the Brisbane Tigers in their Premiership victory over the Burleigh Bears in this year's Hostplus Cup, marking the club's first win since 1991.

Storm's General Manager Football, Frank Ponissi, expressed his gratitude to the duo for their contributions to the club.
