Kamikamica has been a key player for his country's squad since making his representative debut in 2016.

He has played in 16 matches for Fiji, participating in both International Test and World Cup games.

However, this will be the first time that the 29-year-old will lead his country on the field.

Fiji's Pacific Championships campaign will begin on October 22, with a match against Cook Islands in Port Moresby.

They will then face hosts Papua New Guinea on October 29.

Kamikamica will undoubtedly play a leading role in these important matches for Fiji.
