The Melbourne Storm's U17 Harold Matthews and U19 SG Ball Junior Representative squads celebrated their annual End of Season Awards Night on Tuesday at AAMI Park.

The event honored the progress made by both teams throughout the year under the Storm Pathways Program and highlighted the growth of rugby league in Victoria.

The SG Ball squad had a notable season, finishing eighth on the ladder with a record of five wins and four losses.

Significantly, they qualified for their inaugural finals series, reaching the second week before losing to the Parramatta Eels, who proceeded to the Grand Final.

In contrast, the Harold Matthews side, despite finishing 17th and not achieving a win during the season, demonstrated considerable growth and development.

The team, composed entirely of local Victorian players, aims to leverage their experiences as they prepare for the next season in 2026.

Former Storm player Young Tonumaipea attended the event to present the Young Tonumaipea U17s Player of the Year trophy.

The night served as a celebration of achievements and a look forward to future growth in rugby league in Victoria.

A complete list of award winners was provided.
