In a thrilling match, Melbourne Storm showed their resilience and determination as they came from behind to defeat the St George Illawarra Dragons 38-28.

It was a first-half dominated by Storm winger Will Warbrick, who scored a hat-trick, while strike second-rower Eliesa Katoa added two tries to their tally.

Despite trailing 18-4 early on, Melbourne Storm fought back with a flurry of tries before halftime.

The second half saw Kiwis halfback Jahrome Hughes step up and make a significant impact, scoring a try and assisting in three others.

With this victory, the Storm managed to climb into fourth place, overtaking the Sharks.

On the other hand, the Dragons find themselves in a precarious position, at risk of finishing at the bottom of the ladder.

Warbrick's first try came in the ninth minute, thanks to some quick and skillful passing from Harry Grant and Jahrome Hughes.

However, the Dragons quickly retaliated, with second-rower Billy Burns scoring a try off a pass from centre Matt Feagai.

St George Illawarra extended their lead when star player Tyrell Sloan showcased his agility and evaded Melbourne's defense to score in the 18th minute.
