In a dramatic semi-final match, Melbourne Storm triumphed over Sydney Roosters with a last-gasp try from Will Warbrick, securing their spot in the NRL preliminary final.

Following their nightmare defeat at Suncorp, the Storm displayed resilience and determination at AAMI Park.

Under the guidance of coach Craig Bellamy, the Storm initially took a 10-0 lead in the match.

However, the Roosters fought back and managed to take the lead with just eight minutes remaining on the clock.

Facing the possibility of an early exit, Storm's Cameron Munster executed a flawless kick to Warbrick, who soared high above the opposition to score the decisive try.

The crowd of 19,534 erupted in jubilation as the Storm secured their victory.

Their next challenge will be against Penrith, a team aiming for a third consecutive premiership title, in the upcoming preliminary final at Accor Stadium on Friday night.
