Melbournestorm.com.au has announced that registrations for the 2024 Melbourne Storm SG Ball and Jersey Flegg pathway teams are now open.
These teams compete in the NSWRL competitions, with the Jersey Flegg (U21s) competition consisting of 12 NRL-affiliated teams and running for a full 26-week season.
On the other hand, the SG Ball (U19s) competition consists of 16 teams and runs for a nine-week season from February to April.
The Melbourne Storm's Jersey Flegg side is currently placed 5th on the ladder and is preparing to face the Penrith Panthers at Gosch's Paddock this Saturday at 2pm.
The website provides an Expression of Interest (EOI) form for players born in 2003 and 2004 who wish to trial for the 2024 Melbourne Storm Jersey Flegg squad.
The trial has been scheduled for October 7, 2023, and the venue will be confirmed and communicated to successful applicants.
