The Melbourne Storm showcased their dominance in their recent victory over the Brisbane Broncos, sending a warning signal to the rest of the NRL.
In a remarkable defensive display, the Storm limited the Broncos to just two points throughout the 80-minute match, underscoring their defensive prowess.
Following the match, coach Craig Bellamy adopted his typical cautious approach, refraining from excessive celebration despite the team's rise to the top of the ladder.
"Nah, not really [going to celebrate], there's another game on next week, so we'll have a couple of beers, but we've got a seven-day turnaround," Bellamy acknowledged.
He emphasized the importance of staying focused, pointing out the Broncos' injury challenges as a factor in their victory, which warrants measured optimism.
"At the end of the day, it's a win and we celebrate any sort of win," he stated.
