Every year, Melbourne Storm fans hold their breath wondering if the legendary Craig Bellamy will keep his coaching legacy alive, and he has made a game-changing decision for the 2025 season.

According to reports from news.com.au, the Craig Bellamy era at Melbourne Storm will charge on into 2025 as the master coach has decided to extend his reign for one more season.

Bellamy, who signed a five-year contract in 2022 that allows him to assess his coaching future each year, has chosen to lead the charge for a remarkable 23rd season.

With the Storm currently sitting strong in second place on the NRL ladder, winning seven out of their first eight games and eyeing their 21st finals series since Bellamy took the helm in 2003, the 64-year-old coach has decided to keep the ball rolling.

His decision comes just in time for a high-stakes showdown against ladder-leaders Cronulla Sharks at AAMI Park on a massive Saturday night clash.

Throughout Bellamy's tenure, the Storm have consistently rebuilt and reshaped their squad, showcasing one of the NRL's strongest spines led by the likes of Cameron Munster, Jahrome Hughes, Ryan Papenhuyzen, and new captain Harry Grant.

Despite rumors of player movements, Hughes has expressed his commitment to Melbourne amidst talks of a potential shift to the Gold Coast Titans.

With Bellamy at the helm, the Storm look set to tackle the challenges ahead with the same grit and determination that has defined their historic success in the Rugby League arena.
