Storm launch Female Development Program

LeagueNews.co | Robbie Hamilton

Melbourne Storm is on the hunt for fierce young females to join their new Female Development program, aiming to unearth the next big stars of the game.

Following the triumphant Female Footy Festival at the State Rugby League and Community Centre in Broadmeadows, Storm is ready to kick off a brand new chapter for women's rugby league in Victoria.

Storm CEO, Justin Rodski, is excited about the potential of the development program, which will set the stage for future NRLW prospects.

"We're looking to build a solid foundation for the female players, paving the way for them to reach their full potential," Rodksi said.

With the likes of Jillaroos legends such as Ruan Sims and Maddie Studdon blazing a trail for women's rugby league, the future is bright for aspiring female players looking to make their mark on the game.

Interested players are encouraged to visit the Melbourne Storm website for more information on how to get involved.
