An NRL club has tossed their hat in the ring for Melbourne Storm playmaker Jonah Pezet, who is poised to make a splash in the open market in just a few weeks.
Having suffered an ACL injury earlier this year, Pezet has proven himself to be a rising star in the competition, positioning himself as the future leader in the halves after Cameron Munster and Jahrome Hughes.
Born in 2003, this 21-year-old has only played in ten top-flight games, but his potential to become a top attacking option is unmistakable as he hones his skills and grows as a player.
While the Newcastle Knights have shown interest, it looks like Pezet will be staying put in Melbourne.
The Storm have laid a three-year contract extension on the table, banking on him to step up as the next Munster or Hughes.
His contract is up at the end of the 2025 NRL season, giving him the chance to explore his options and chat with other teams starting November 1.
