Recent reports have suggested that Cameron Munster could be released early from his contract with the Melbourne Storm.
Many speculate that the Storm might allow him to leave the club ahead of schedule if he is interested in joining the Perth Bears.
Although prominent NRL figures like Paul Kent have seemingly corroborated these rumors, the Storm has clarified its intentions regarding Munster's future.
"We have no plans to let Cameron Munster leave the club or, more specifically, leave early, as is being said," Storm chairman Matt Tripp told the Sydney Morning Herald.
He reinforced the club's commitment to Munster, suggesting that an extension could be a possibility in the future.
"I want to see Cameron finish his career in a Storm jumper," Tripp declared.
