Melbourne Storm has achieved a remarkable milestone by signing 40,237 members, setting a new record in the Club's 27-year history, according to melbournestorm.com.au. This accomplishment is particularly notable as it comes just before two highly anticipated home matches at AAMI Park in the upcoming weeks.
In recent years, Storm's membership numbers have surged, showcasing a 40% increase over the last four seasons, culminating in this historic total for 2025. This marks only the second time in history the membership count has exceeded 40,000, surpassing the previous record of 40,161 set in 2022. During that year, the Club extended memberships to supporters in Victoria who had backed Storm through two challenging COVID-impacted seasons.
Justin Rodski, CEO of Storm, emphasized that this achievement reflects the unwavering commitment of the purple faithful.
