The Illawarra Steelers celebrated their 2025 Junior Reps Presentation Night on Sunday evening at Collegians Wollongong, honoring the achievements of their young talents across various teams.
The event featured participants from the SG Ball Cup, Tarsha Gale Cup, Harold Matthews Cup, and Lisa Fiaola Cup.
Kade Reed was awarded the Rick Posetti SG Ball Player of the Year and also received the Brian Surtees Memorial Trophy for the Highest Point Scorer, totaling 96 points from seven tries and 34 goals in nine matches.
Charlie Heidke earned the Coaches Award for the SG Ball Cup team.
Both players have advanced to the Jersey Flegg level, contributing significantly to the Dragons' pursuit of a finals spot.
In the Tarsha Gale Cup, Tori Shipton, a representative for the Under 19s Origin, was named the team's Player of the Year, while Siu Richter received the Coaches Award.
This recognition highlights the promising future of these young athletes within the Steelers organization.
