The Illawarra Steelers have revealed their line-ups for the upcoming 2024 season in the SG Ball Cup, Harold Matthews Cup, Tarsha Gale Cup, and Lisa Fiaola Cup.
The announcement was made by the team's official website, dragons.com.au, with a headline stating "Steelers announce 2024 junior representative squads."
The squads will convene for the first time at Wollongong TAFE on Saturday, November 4th for an orientation session.
This will be the first opportunity for the players to meet and get acquainted with their teammates and coaching staff.
To prepare for the season, a series of trial matches have been scheduled.
The first match will take place on Saturday, December 9th, where the Steelers will face off against their local rivals, the Dragons.
This match will serve as an important test for the young players, allowing them to showcase their skills and impress the coaching staff.
Following the match against the Dragons, the Steelers will have further trial matches against the Raiders and the Roosters in the new year.
These matches will provide additional opportunities for the players to fine-tune their game and gain valuable match experience before the start of the season in February.
