G'day footy fans! The Penrith Panthers at penrithpanthers.com.au are gearing up for a ripper of a match against the Sea Eagles this weekend at BlueBet Stadium.
It's set to be a real nail-biter as both teams are sweating on the availability of their State of Origin stars.
The Panthers are already without their star halfback, Nathan Cleary, due to a dodgy hamstring.
To make matters worse, prop Moses Leota hobbled off with a hamstring injury during their last game against the Dragons, and fullback Dylan Edwards picked up a quad injury in camp with the Blues.
Meanwhile, the Sea Eagles are missing their own set of Origin players, including Daly Cherry-Evans, Jake Trbojevic, and Haumole Olakau'atu.
Both teams will be keeping their fingers crossed that their Origin stars can recover in time for Sunday's clash.
The Sea Eagles will be hoping to have fullback Tolutau Koula back from a shoulder injury, while the Panthers are eyeing a return for Luke Garner and Matt Eisenhuth.
Unfortunately for the Sea Eagles, they won't have the services of their star player, Tom Trbojevic, who was a powerhouse in their last meeting with the Panthers in Round 5.
With so much at stake and plenty of footy left to be played this season, both coaches will be cautious with their players' fitness.
It's sure to be a cracking game that fans won't want to miss!
