Star Panther hints at Luai's return for World Club Challenge

In a recent interview, Dylan Edwards, the Penrith Panthers' teammate of star five-eighth Jarome Luai, dropped a hint about Luai's return timeline, suggesting that he could be back in time for the World Club Challenge.

Luai had been battling a shoulder injury throughout the 2023 finals campaign, which ultimately led to him missing the qualifying final win over the New Zealand Warriors.

Although he managed to play for an hour in the grand final, he was later taken off the field as his teammates orchestrated a remarkable come from behind victory.

Since then, Luai has been making headlines in the NRL news cycle, whether it's for his shoulder injury or his new contract with the Wests Tigers, where he will become the highest-paid player in their history.

However, before he switches teams for the 2025 season, Luai has unfinished business with the Panthers as they aim for their fourth consecutive premiership under the guidance of coach Ivan Cleary.
