The NRL is rich with emerging talent, especially from the junior leagues, where future stars are making their mark.

The NSW Cup has unveiled its Team of the Year, recognizing standout players expected to shine in the NRL.

Cody Ramsey, the standout fullback from the St George Illawarra Dragons, has made a remarkable return after 896 days sidelined due to illness, marking a triumphant rugby league comeback.

On the wings, Penrith Panthers' Asu Kepaoa and Sydney Roosters' Tom Rodwell have been spotlighted for their exceptional performances, finishing the season as top try-scorers with 21 and 20 tries, respectively.

The team also features two impressive young centres: Cassius Tia from the Canterbury Bulldogs and Michael Gabrael from the Newtown Jets, both of whom have demonstrated exceptional attacking capabilities.

Jonah Glover, a departing star from the Dragons, has been named at five-eighth. His poise and skillset will serve him well as he transitions to the NRL in the near future.

Niwhai Puru from the Jets has been recognized as the best halfback of the NSW Cup, illustrating the emergence of a promising playmaker in rugby league.
