Cronulla Sharks rising star and future NRL hotshot Zavier Peacock has blitzed the competition to claim the U17s 100m National Championship title.

Reports from zerotackle.com suggest that Peacock clocked an impressive time of 10.56, although there are conflicting reports stating he crossed the line in 10.78 - still a stellar performance considering his personal best is 10.44.

A student at De La Salle College Revesby, Peacock has a background in the Harold Matthews Cup squad with the Sharks and has also had a taste of the Canterbury Bulldogs pathways system.

No doubt, his lightning speed has caught the eye of NRL scouts and fans alike.

Time will tell if this young talent can make a splash at the top level, but for now, he's off to a flying start in his sporting journey.
