Keano Kini, one of rugby league's top young talents, has signed a contract extension with the Gold Coast Titans that will keep him with the team until 2030.

Kini, who was the reigning Paul Broughton Medallist, solidified his position as the club's starting fullback during a stellar 2024 season.

Hailing from New Zealand, he completed his schooling at Palm Beach Currumbin State High School on the Gold Coast before progressing through the Titans' pathways and making his NRL debut in 2023.

Initially contracted until 2026, this extension will ensure the 21-year-old remains a key player for the Titans for several more years.

Titans coach Des Hasler expressed enthusiasm for the news, highlighting its importance to fans.
