South Sydney has dished out a hefty $100k fine to Latrell Mitchell, settling the score over the recent NRL ban drama.

Mitchell, finally hearing his fate regarding the controversial white powder photo saga, has accepted the consequences from both his club and the NRL.

Despite the heated debate over when he will serve his ban, Mitchell has acknowledged the need to address the off-field misstep and bring the game back into good standing.

The NRL didn't hold back, hitting Mitchell with a one-game suspension, a $20,000 fine, and a requirement for educational measures under the NRL Wellbeing and Education Department.

Following suit, the Rabbitohs laid down the law with a $100,000 fine, $20,000 to be paid immediately and $80,000 hanging by a thread pending any future contract or wellbeing slip-ups.

"This has been a tough time for all involved at South Sydney, from staff to fans, and especially Latrell himself," expressed Rabbitohs CEO Blake Solly.

"He has expressed deep remorse and a sincere commitment to turn a new leaf, not just for himself but for his family and his team.

We believe this is a pivotal moment for Latrell, and we stand ready to support his journey to redemption and growth." Through this setback, Mitchell has owned up to his mistakes and shown dedication to becoming a better player, partner, and parent moving forward.
