Slater tackles Woods' claims with a clever reply

Queensland coach Billy Slater has addressed former New South Wales prop Aaron Woods' accusations regarding his decision to drop captain and halfback Daly Cherry-Evans ahead of Game 2 of the series.

Woods, who has called out Slater twice since the team announcements, accused him of hypocrisy.

In response, Gordon Tallis criticized Woods during an appearance on Triple M's Sunday Sin Bin.

Tallis remarked, "He got sacked from six clubs, so he knows what it feels like, and when Queensland start listening to a bloke that played his last six years in reserve grade, we've got problems." He further pointed out that Woods "wasn't that brave when he was a player; he's braver on the mic," emphasizing his belief that Woods would not have made such comments during his playing career.
