The Tauaneai family is gearing up for an exciting face-off as sisters Alexis and Trinity prepare to compete against each other for the first time.

This highly anticipated match will take place when the Bulldogs host the Dragons at Accor Stadium on Saturday.

The siblings have been looking forward to this Round 3 clash since the NRLW season began.

Previously, the Tauaneai sisters played together in Wainuiomata.

Alexis made the move to Australia in 2023 to pursue an NRLW career alongside her older sister, Brooke, who plays for the St George Dragons in the Harvey Norman NSW Women's Premiership.

Soon after, Trinity, 18, followed Alexis to Australia, alongside their family, which also includes another sister, Paige, who is currently on a development contract with the Dragons.

The excitement within the Tauaneai household is palpable, and it's clear that this showdown has been a topic of lively banter among family members.
