"The Crichton brothers squared off at Blues training today," reported the Bulldogs website, bulldogs.com.au.

"Christian Crichton's competitive spirit was evident as he eyed his younger brother Stephen with the ball in hand.

If this was a local footy match, Christian would have loved to put a big hit on him, but with strict instructions in place, he had to hold back."

Christian, known for his skills on the field, was brought in to play for the St Marys Saints in a practice match against the Blues, helping them gear up for the upcoming State of Origin decider.

While Stephen may have a more impressive rugby league background, Christian definitely holds his own on the field.

As the brothers faced off in a friendly, yet competitive atmosphere, the tension was palpable.

Christian's eyes were fixated on Stephen, itching for a chance to show off his skills.

"I'd love to whack him," Christian joked, showcasing the typical banter seen between siblings.

With the State of Origin decider just around the corner, the Blues are leaving no stone unturned in their preparation.

The presence of the Crichton brothers added an extra layer of excitement to the training session, as they brought their A-game to the field.

As the session drew to a close, both brothers walked away with their heads held high, knowing that they had given it their all.

The rivalry between the Crichton brothers may have been put on hold for now, but rest assured, it will reignite come game day.
