Roger Tuivasa-Sheck is reportedly set to make a significant career move, leaving the New Zealand Warriors to return to rugby union after the 2026 season.
According to zerotackle.com, the outside back and former Dally M Medallist is currently under contract with the Warriors until the end of 2026, with earnings around $550,000 per season.
A report from the Sydney Morning Herald suggests he may pursue a position in the Saudi Arabian-backed Rugby 360 competition starting in 2027.
Tuivasa-Sheck isn't the only player linked to this emerging competition, as names like Ryan Papenhuyzen and Kalyn Ponga have also surfaced in discussions.
However, Tuivasa-Sheck-who has a background in rugby-could be the most viable candidate, especially considering he is at the tail end of his career and has the opportunity to significantly increase his salary.
Once a dynamic player in the NRL, Tuivasa-Sheck's versatility allows him to excel as a fullback, wing, or centre.
He previously transitioned to rugby union, leaving the NRL in 2022 to compete with an Auckland-based Super Rugby team and to play for the All Blacks, before making his return to the NRL for the upcoming season in 2024.
